Wine Tasting

The ultimate 'free of charge' wine tasting experience, I believe, is at the Scarborough Wine Co in the Hunter Valley. You are ushered to a table where you are provided with a fruit and cheese platter plus a paper place mat on which the glasses are located. The wines are explained as they are poured and then you are given a pamphlet that also details the wines. You then leisurely taste. There is no real push to buy (but we did).
