SOWING WILDFLOWERS TODAY AROUND THE GLOBE THEATRE

Don & Jane's EM10F Tussock mixture ( http://wildseed.co.uk/mixtures/view/10 ) has the potential to increase the species mix in the orchard paddock massively. I will be looking out in particular for the species that are presently absent: Yarrow, Betony, Nettle-leaved Bellflower, Hedge Bedstraw, Wood Avens, Selfheal, and Wood Sage.

I have also collected seed from my own plants last autumn to increase the density of Cow Parsley and to introduce some Meadowsweet and some of this has been sown out today too.

So now we need to be patient! Doubly so, because I have sown into gaps I have created in the existing sward and that will restrict the success rate somewhat. Oh well - we'll see.
