Culbin Sands

This is a photo of Culbin Sands and Forest from Findhorn front. The sands which are made up of shifting dunes were planted with trees to stop the movement of the sand. It worked well and now there are miles of forest. It is said there is a village under that water, which sunk into the sands hundreds of years ago. It was taken back by the sea! So it is not only nowadays the sea reclaims land. So this is another beach for my 2014 series!
