Apogee

Man, is it ever cold outside! It's just about an hour before high noon, and it's only 15 degrees fahrenheit (-9 celsius). The sky is leaden, but the good news is that the latest big snow storm has missed us, and is instead dumping its load on our poor neighbours to the south.

Believe it or not, this is not a black and white photograph. Here you can see the wan sun almost at its apogee for the day. I like how it is reflected in the foreground on that icy snow. Actually, I think I will like this image a whole lot more sometime in August.
