Auch al bin ich wied weg, ich blief n Zittesj maedje!

Even though I am far away, I am still a girl from my home town Sittard, which is celebrating Carnival at the moment. This is as much 'Vasteloavend' as it gets here in NYC, but at least we made plenty of Nonnevotte (possible precursors of donuts), so we at least got the taste of Carnaval :)
