Chasing pavements.
This beautiful mosaic was set into the footpath/ pavement in Alcester a few years ago . There is some debate about its meaning, but it's thought to come from a French word tuerie meaning abattoir ( which I thought was French anyway) but that's what it says in the town guide, and it has come to signify an alleyway.
This is the alleyway you have to walk along to get to the back of the post office to collect a parcel should you be out when they try to deliver it. That'll teach me to get carried away ordering stuff, forgetting I was going away next day.
