Cats' Eye View

This must be something similar to how Fergus and Mush see the outside world from their favorite vantage point. In fact, this morning was the first time I ever noticed the cat in the window of the house across the street. I haven't seen him in that window before. And, strangely, when the cat isn't in the window there appears to be some sort of gnome or other inanimate creature staring out in his place, I kid you not.
