Boring day on campus was boring. Had to stay on campus for an extra rescheduled Stats lecture from 2-5pm- extra statistics on a Friday afternoon. I mean really?!

Night out tonight for Nicolas birthday was great though. Predrinking at Hazels with Rosie and Kayleigh, lots of sambuca and playing cards against humanity. Town was fairly dead. In a moment of desperation we befriended two policemen. After 20 minutes of persuasion they let us "have a go" on the breathalyser; another 20 minutes of persuasion later we were allowed to try the helmets on for size. Here are Hazel and Nic- looking pretty pleased with themselves, if you ask me. Unfortunately the policemen couldn't be se easily persuaded to give us a lift home in their van, nor turn it in to a "party van" to drive us around in. Damn, another 20 minutes of persuasion I reckon we might have got there!
