did someone say cookies?!

Why yes, yes I did.

Tonight we baked gingerbread cookies for the Man's work. They are having a chili/barbecue lunch to celebrate Thanksgiving. A bit of a tough crowd for us vegetarians but he also whipped up a quick batch of vegetarian chili to take with him. I wish I could stop in for a visit but alas, work for me. I don't get to have fun like he does, oh well, perhaps I will settle for a gingerbread latte (they do come with a cookie on top who's name is Bob, but they are nowhere as good as these bad boys).

All made from scratch, a recipe stolen from my mum. We like to make weird shapes too. Bunnies, squirrels, ducks, and cats oh my!

Word from the kitchen is that the Man just BROKE one of the squirrels! I will have to seek revenge! And bummer, time to clean up.
