Rosenmontag
Shrove Monday
Rosenmontag, the highlight of carnival in Germany, means mostly business as usual in Munich (and most parts of Bavaria). There are stalls in the pedestrian area where you can buy drinks and almost nobody is wearing a costume - and I very much apperciate that. Shall those guys in Cologne and Mainz party for a few days (almost) without us. We have Oktoberfest, and a more general drinking problem and a very complicated realtionship with alcohol, anyway.
The blip shows Munich's pedestrian zone during the "festivities". The guy in the brown leather jacket spotted me, I guess.
I start enjoying street photography.
Of course cou can buy Bratwurst.
