So Long

I remember when I moved far away from my family..how hard and exciting it was. Tears streaming down my face as I drove down the interstate. Not knowing what was ahead of me was scary. My life was changing...for the better.

Saying farewell was difficult today...for so many reasons. I have a truck full of mementos. One which reflects back at me from the back seat. Two or three times I felt like someone was riding along with me...though the conversation was quiet:)

NC is a great place to be. I think they will love it and we will love visiting!!
