Snow!

Okay so there is no snow in the picture but on the train from the airport to Oslo there was snowy hills and snowy trees. It was exciting and beautiful. One of my local colleagues told me that this winter has been so dry that there were fires in January. Not how I picture a Norwegian winter.

This evening there was a reception. It is really something to meet people from around the world that I speak to on the phone or email all the time face to face. It is important too.

I am staying in a different hotel to everyone else (my fault for late booking) but it gave the chance to have a quick wander around and take a couple of pictures on the way to their hotel.

None of this takes my mind off baby.
