Adult space

This is the evening living room when toys are banished to baskets and picture books to bookshelves. It is also capturing a brief moment when both children are in bed asleep and the tiniest bit of tv can be watched and a quick cup of tea drunk.

I say brief because sure enough, Annie is awake and wanting a dream feed and Arthur hasn't properly settled. Amidst renditions of 'twinkle twinkle' and 'baa baa', I can make out 'mummy' 'daddy' and 'gwumpa'.

Today has been a sleepy day after another broken night. Swimming was cancelled which was good because Annie is full of cold. We met up with dawn, Rita and Bex for a birthday lunch at the Italian in town.

Arthur had a great morning at nursery. He went in with little fuss and Linda said he had been on top form getting involved with everything. Good boy Arthur. Now sleep all night!!!!
