Charcoal Drawing #2

Second week of three, at the Drawing Taster class. Well, I had a go, at drawing from a profile photograph of an old man. This was my effort after about an hour.

I think his ear looks like it's probably in the wrong place, and I haven't got the nose right either. I think I've got the shape of his face, his moustache and short beard, and his eye.

I am coming to the decision this is not for me. CJ reminded me at dinner this evening that I used to say I was no good at taking photos, and he always had the camera in hand. Not sure I'll stick at this, I am finding it too stressful. Others in the class were saying what a relaxing hour it was!
