Spring in the Air ?

is it, but I have seen Crocuses in West Hill, Snow Drops in PeterCulter, in last few days. So it must be spring?

And so this picture in Johnston Gardens this lunch time.

Johnston Gardens
is located on Viewfield Road
in the City of Aberdeen and is made up of one-hectare park whose garden is surrounded by private housing. The garden has streams, waterfalls, ponds, rockeries and rustic bridges that help to make this one of the most charming areas in the city.

The garden is planted with rhododendrons, spring bulbs, heathers and alpines; the ponds are full of irises, Aylesbury with Mallard and Muscovy ducks, at some months of the year. This garden is well loved by bridal couples for photographs of their day.

Also located in the garden is a monument remembering those who sadly lost their lives in a helicopter crash in the North Sea. This is what it says "In remembrance of those who lost their lives on G - REDL Flight 85N on 1st April 2009". Sadly 16 men perished in this disaster, their names are inscribed on this monument.
