Tomorrow I am going to hospital for a corneal graft. I have a hereditary dystrophy which has an effect on my vision a bit like a salty windscreen. So tomorrow I say goodbye to my cornea of 44 years and will receive a donor graft. I'm thinking about the loss that the donor's family will be feeling and wondering if I can write to thank them . I've just had a long soak in a bath of bubbles as I'm not sure how soon it will be before I can do that again. Ready for a good night's sleep lying on my side....again I think it's going to be lying flat for a while after tomorrow . I wonder if I will be up for blipping tomorrow .
