Over The Sea to Seil
With blue skies and real signs of Spring in the air this morning, we decided to make the most of the fine weather and go to Oban for the day. Although the clouds built up and threatened occasionally, it remained mostly dry and we enjoyed our walk about the town, which culminated in a walk to McCaig's Folly. OK, we missed out the hard bit and drove up the hill but did walk the last few yards to the tower. Brilliant views over the bay towards the mountains of Mull amnd beyond.
On the way home we diverted from the main road and headed to Clachan Bridge , which links the mainland to Seil. With the sun still making the occasional appearance through the clouds, I was hoping for some blips of the famous Bridge over the Atlantic. I did get a few shots with the sun on the bridge and even one with a small fishing boat passing under it. However, it was the view looking south from the bridge that really captured my attention. It was so peaceful it just had to be my blip for today!
