Rainbows

Helped out at school this morning as it's Arts Week. James was very excited this morning, about the prospect of a week of art projects.

The builders arrived and I was glad to be out of the house, as the noise of the drill pulling the plaster off the damaged walls was deafening!

It was a day of heavy showers with the shortest periods of sunshine... but just enough to produce the odd rainbow. I saw several throughout the day... quite unusual!

And finally, it was also National Offer Day today for secondary school places. I received an email this evening to say Amy was being offered a place at her first choice secondary school! Hurray! She's over the moon and we are very pleased!
