The Lark

Respect goes out to this diner, which accepts only cash, and serves up a delicious meal for two for under $20.

As soon as I walked into this place, I was transformed into my former self. A small child, hungry for adventure and great home cooking.

As a teen, I turned my nose up at the Skylark, but today, love it! The new owner is a lovely woman, third generation in the diner's history, who after our two visits exclaimed, "See you soon!"

I smiled back.

"For sure! I love this place!"
