huangshan

the sun was out today so we took the 10 minute cable car up to the top of the yellow mountains (huangshan). yesterday it was snowing way up here so views like this were solid white. the 10 minute cable car ride up over gaping ravines was a bit nerve-wracking though, partly because of my fear of heights and partly because i was in a chinese cable car (although they insisted they were swiss-made which was supposed to be reassuring).

not going to find mountains like this in new england, that's for sure.
