Mountain Barns on a Grey Day

There was flat light on the cross country ski tracks today so we had them, and even the restaurant, to ourselves. Our faces froze in the lightly falling snow on the descent to the village. Contrasts in the day's activities make you feel so alive and appreciate the warmth of home-coming too.
