Characterful Captain!

We got picked up from the hotel at 9am, in a private taxi for a boat tour and a couple of hours around Galle Town.

The blip photo is of the owner of a fleet of boats that go around The Madhu River near Balapitiya. He is a bit of a character and we got on well. He was only to happy to pose for me - he has a great face that begs to be photographed.

The boat trip offered stunning scenery. We stopped on a small island for tea in china cups (for the wife) and a cup of coffee for me.

Afterwards we continued to Galle Town for a walk around. A lovely place which we enjoyed and easy to take photo's. Another day with too many photo's to chose from!
