Outline of day:-

1 Have splendid yoga class even if tho just can't do cobra
2 While driving home, steer too close to kerb when dutifully giving way At speed on single carriageway to oncoming blues- and-twos. Thump!! Hear ominous flapping sounds from rear nearside but manage to draw in to big car park. Shredded tyre!
3 Wail like a big baby so butler takes command, gets AA, sends me home (short walk) wheel change, trip to tyre shop, new wheel. My hero!
4 Now running late. My hero throws all stuff in car, drives sensibly, arrives at Ardrossan on time; boat sails early, whizzes across.
5 Hero crams bag of coal in front passenger seat with him. Arrive at cottage, All cosy as lovely neighbour has put heaters on; log & coal fire lit. Coffee made
