Ratty

The inspiration for the famous character in the book "Wind in the Willows" is not really a rat at all but rather a water vole.
I have been seeing these rather delightful creatures on the bank of the River Derwent near Calver for some time but this was the first time I have been able to get a halfway decent shot of one.
