Eggs

My mother told me this weekend that she had thought she wouldn't have to buy eggs again after we got our hens. Me too, I replied. It was so bad I was getting supplies from one my colleagues who keeps hens too.

The good news is that the slightly longer days have sparked a resurgence in laying. That's 4 eggs that Steve has produced this year... Pretty sure Lorna is henopausal and her egg laying days are behind her. Still a game old bird though; she managed to get up on the kitchen window ledge at the weekend and look in!
