A Little Egret !

Well what a day ... the birds in the garden were out in abundance, later my good friend left to go home, and then I went to see what birds were on the shore as the tide was high this afternoon ..... and what a variety there was today, geese, heron more than one, curlew ..a herd !, there were a lot of black and white birds on the shore sleeping but i haven't managed to identify them as yet, some ducks, gulls, and ONE EGRET ... I was able to sit and watch it for a while and took a number of pictures - I even managed to get a picture of its yellow foot, I'am quite chuffed really but I chose this picture for today because I managed to 'catch its eye' as it were ...take care ...
