Action shot of my friend, whom I look on with considerable envy. What I've learned about skiing is that it's mostly about keeping relaxed and losing the fear. This is considerably easier said than done. Particularly when stood at the top of a ridge, staring down, with long sliding plastic planks for feet, and a brain that can't fathom that the way to control is to lean down the slope.
