The chef's fear of the pancake

Not to be mistaken for The Goalkeeper's Fear of the Penalty, although psychologically quite similar.

Lovely to have everyone in the kitchen for pancakes. Lots of "tossing" jokes and unhealthy fillings.

As for the day - a morning in the office, with a delightful reunion with a new recruit who it turns out I last worked with fifteen years ago and who rather wonderfully said I didn't look a day older. This was followed by an afternoon with dance company colleagues discussing tactics. Even small charities have to manage everything from pensions and staffing to strategy and relationships.

Monty escaped for a few hours today - bad cat! But will always come home to be fed, comfined to barracks again now.

Fell asleep for an hour before the shrove Tuesday tradition - not enough kip last night. And going for an early one again today ...
