Foot fatigue

Spoiled for choice today. A long and busy ten hours at the Geneva Motor Show press day, seeing all the new cars, photographing and discussing them with motor company PRs, engineers and marketing folk.

There are so many views I could have used for today's blip, but this one particularly appealed: the view from the upstairs lounge on Citroen's stand looking out at the new Cactus, a car notable both for reviving the company's once-characteristic quirky streak and for its signature 'airbags', absorbent panels on the doors that act as side bumpers to protect against minor chafes in urban driving. What a good idea.

One of my colleagues wore a pedometer at the show today. Interesting result. It said he'd walked 11 miles. No wonder we're all a bit foot-sore this evening.
