Ullswater from Glencoyne.
First thing to report is that I had no ill effects from yesterday's walk. Yes my leg was a little stiff in the evening but I had a great nights sleep and woke the leg feeling fine.
We had a few things to see to this afternoon and when we finished it was decided we would call in at Glencoyne to see how the wild daffodils were progressing. We dropped off at a friends workshop on the way and I took a few "pastoral scenes" and then onwards to the lake. Our first stop at the part of Glencoyne which has the wild daffodils showed two things very quickly. Firstly they are nowhere near flowering and secondly the light visible from there wasn't good. So we went a little further to the national trust car park. This is at a corner of the lake and gave views in a totally different direction. The light was much better in this view so I settled for this view down the lake.
