Day 1 in Manchester

Day started with a free walking tour where we definitely got our money's worth. It was two hours long but we'd all given up by an hour...some had left after 10 minutes! Some of the group went on a tour of Old Trafford but as a Liverpool fan, there was no way I was setting foot in that dump!

Went for a wonder around the city and the cathedral, where this photo was taken. Stained glass windows are always fun to snap but this one caught my eye in particular. Not sure I've done it complete justice as it looked amazing in person.

We had dinner in a Greek restaurant and after one of our members managed to walk past the place before realising where to go, we were all sorted for the night. After a lot few more drinks, we headed over to a club called 5th Avenue where I wasn't allowed in. Me and bouncers really don't get along. No problem...I just had to go round to the back, climb a fairly large fence while someone distracted the bouncer and problem solved. Highlight of the night was easily Rob having to wait behind because he'd lost his ticket for his jacket. 45 minutes later and it turns out he'd never taken his jacket out in the first place. Might sound boring but was definitely an eventful hour for the rest of us who were there with him.
