Tram Shocker!

A Tram! On Princes Street!

Managed to be in the right place, at the right time to get a wee bit of the Castle in shot plus the bonus Black cab.... My sis and family, just arrived from the snowy Alps, were suitably impressed.
I guess it will be a commonplace sight soon enough but I did quite enjoy hearing the whirr of the engine and the ding ding of the bell for the first time. Still can't quite believe they are finally running after all that palaver....

My good impression may been influenced by having just purchased a much sought after jacket for the impending wedding for half price in a Debenhams special promotion. I do like a surprise bargain.
