DAY ONE...

First day of our big NZMHA Nationals weekend... well week really. Flew into Wellington, drove up the coast to Hawera - 4.5 hours driving, but a nice journey, easy roads.
Arrived, met the lovely family we are staying with, visited the show grounds and caught up with the horses and everyone we know, Brooke got a bit of a training session with the horse she is borrowing for the youth classes, and back to our base... last minute shot of Mt Egmont/Mt Taranaki (take your pick! lol) before bed.
