Business is not all gloom and doom as evident by this capture of the chairman and Jackie, the NLC official photographer at a Lanarkshire Business Week event tonight.

Business Question Time Chaired by Lanarkshire Enterprise Services chief executive Ronnie Smith, with the BBC Scotland business and economy editor Douglas Fraser as guest speaker.

The theme was 'Green Shoots-Fact or Fiction?' the address was followed by a question time from an audience representing business and finance.

The outcome? I'm afraid I had to leave early to fulfil another appointment which was a pity because it was a good opportunity to take stock of where we really are 5 years after the big crash.
