Funky shiny bright light thing (closer)

Managed to get a bit closer than the last time. And I am formulating a plan as to how I can get into the room and blip the funky shiny bright light thingy a bit closer. I'll let you know how the planning is going.

So. Anyway. How exciting is the harry Benson news. I spent my commute planning what my question would be. And now that I've posted it, I am trying to guess what questions other blipper will want to ask. I saw Mr Benson speaking at the Festival of Politics a couple of years ago. So I already know how he feels about the digital versus spools problem. And I don't need to ask him about Amy Winehouse.

I saw his exhibition twice when it was here three years ago. And I have a postcard of my favourite photo of his up in my house. And at the exhibition the blurb said that he considers that he was just lucky to be in the right place to have taken it (hope for all us amateurs?)


I've referred to another of his photos few times when the subject of photographing emotional moments has come up. That photo of Ethel Kennedy is an important record of an historic moment.

And in his office, John Kennedy Jnr had a photo of his father taken by Mr Benson.

Oooh it's all very exciting, isn't it?

Nothing much else to report. Watched The Execution of Gary Glitter tonight. Powerful and disturbing stuff.
