Naughty Hard Disk

Just when you least suspect...they pounce!

Sitting at my desk around 13:00 in the middle of a financial model...then "POP", there she blows! I suspect Mike may have had something to do with it!

Have I ever told you to make backups...well I'm not sure I always practice what I preach. Fortunately, I managed to recover all my data (I hadn't backed up for a week or so).

Had to swap to a spare laptop for the rest of the day, and picked up a new 500Gb HD on the way home.

So that's Windows 7 back on and my laptop's alive...and I've just downloaded Office 2010 Beta (nothing like "living on the edge").

A few wasted hours I could have done without!
