"ALL ALONE"

Another frigid day. I went to Heckscher Park blip hunting and this is what I found. The poor little female was struggling near the edge of the lake. Since I'd heard that geese mate forever it seemed unusual that she was all alone - however I could see others near the bridge on the other side of the lake. It's hard to believe that these geese are able to survive in this frigid weather.
