In Leeds for the day, working with the Macular Society.
This statue commands City Square Leeds, outside the GPO.
Not sure what the Leeds connection is.
This is Edward, Prince of Wales .. The Black Prince 1330 - 1373
Hero of Crecy and Poitiers
The flower of England's cavalry, and upholder of the rights of the people in the Good Parliament, according to the legend on the plinth.
I shall research that a bit more.
