Drunken bus trip to Luang Prabang

We found one day was enough here so it was back on the bus this time to Luang Prabang. On the bus with us was the Venezuelan man from last night and so he sat and chatted with us for a while. He's a really nice guy and I think he has a bit of a soft spot for me. The bus took about 10 hours and cost 120,000 kip, £9. We changed bus to minivan about 3/4 of the way there and two semi drunk men from Laos got on. They were great fun and made the driver stop for beers so me, Alison and Alex (Venezuelan) joined in. I think they were trying to get us drunk and played the pass the cup game they do here in Laos. It's sort of weird and just involves one person being in charge of the cup and filling it up and passing it to someone who has to down it in one. It was funny as the two guys ended up pissed and sleeping after about an hour of playing while us three were fine.lol.

We arrived and tried to find cheap accommodation here but I think it's pretty impossible to do so. I felt bad that Alex was going to have to pay for a double room so we decided to share a 3 person room. We went out for food then bed as it had been a very long day.
