Going Against the Grain
Not my typical blip, but I am very headachy and tired this evening so I decided to try a macro for a change of pace. This is, as is probably obvious, a sheaf of wheat. It is one of three adornments in our boardroom at the office, a nod to my law partner's Prairie heritage. One of the others, which I blipped ages ago, is the bicycle clock shown here.
It has been nearly as cold as the Prairies in the Greater Toronto Area this winter, very unusually so.
As for the heading, against the grain, I suppose I'd say that's a bit of a self-description. I've never been much for fitting in. Nerdy, geeky, freaky, nonconformist, messy, spaz, dork... you get the picture. C'est moi.
