Sub $100 Photo Project
I hear people say things like "You take nice photos. You must have a nice camera", "Can you take pictures for me, I just don't have a nice camera" . . . etc, etc. Now, I have a lot to learn and great deal of improvement to make, but it's not always the camera. A lot of my favorite pictures were taken on my old Canon XSi or my film N75 (which is part of this project).
This project is an attempt to take good photos with a cheap setup. I have:
Nikon N75 Film SLR: $30
Nikon 28-80 3.3-5.6G: $40
Ilford HP5: $8
Developing Costs: $10
Total: $88
Granted, this is just for one roll of film. But even going forward it will be cheap. I use film very sparingly and it usually will last a few weeks to a month. I don't have the room or expense to buy developing materials, so I use thedarkroom.com.
