Raindrops

A home day and an inside day as the rain continued to fall with gusty winds which have eased slightly through the day, certainly not warm at a mere 10C.

Christchurch has been hit hard with the storm being the worst since 1975 causing severe flooding through the city and some surrounding areas. Rivers were bursting their banks before high tide which has now caused considerable damage to already damaged earthquake homes which people are still living in.

A quick dash out to the garden for a few raindrop shots, this was the best of the bunch due to the wind and rain - a gazania tightly closed but smothered in raindrops.

Just muddling along today, yesterday's migraine has left me a little drained, thank you for all of your kind words :)

It's now time to think about tea, some days I wish we didn't have to eat......
