From afar.
Onsite this morning. More of the same walking the halls and getting people to try samples of our wares.
Then some cold calling in the afternoon. So not worth it we don't get past reception and it's so awkward. I know you don't get if you don't try but there surely must be better ways than this.
For instance there is a local directory of a ton of Biotech and pharma companies in the area. We have a customer database. I look up the company and see if they have an account with us. If not we go and try to sign them up. The accounts we called on today are already signed up and the mantra of 2014 is acquire new business. So to me this makes perfect sense.
Footy tonight. Same old story of not enough players. Started one short but quarter way through we got our 6th but still no subs against young squad of 9. 6-1 at half time but held our own in the second half finishing 9-4. Set up a few goals and felt pretty fit playing the entire 45 min. Need a bigger squad for next season (which starts straight after this one) as although we have 11 signed up a lot have flaked out. But don't mind as I'm paying much longer than before and now my company pays for me to play!
