Boardwalk?

This looks like a boardwalk at night to me. Complete with curved boards. It is however, a heated rear screen on a car, at night. Frost is forming on it and condensation gathering inside. The heating elements can still be seen so are appearing as the gaps between the boards. I don't know what caused the nail holes!
