Roses again

Flowers this evening. Since I was walking with a telephoto lens, the birds were all conspicuous by their absence from trees usually filled with their twittering. "Never mind," thunk I; "the sky is gorgeous and clear, so if it stays that way I'll mount the astrotracer and shoot Orion."
