Flash bang wallop

Today trying to learn how to control flash trying to stop the flash washing out the scene but remove the shadows in and around the driftwood and bone set up - its far to technical for me at the moment so we'll take a break and return later to try and understand it better I think trial and error will come into it a lot before we go and buy an stand alone flash for my camera haha
