Three Cats

This is a quilt made with leftovers from another quilt and used up my store of Three Cats and other indigo fabrics. I have temporarily reclaimed it to illustrate tying as well as quilting. I have used buttons and red Shetland wool which felted when the quilt was washed. Three Cats fabric is just one brand of fabric hailing from South Africa though it was originally manufactured in Manchester for the African market but that ceased and the machines and rollers were exported. New patterns have been added to the old. The fabric is incredibly stiff when you buy it but softens when you wash it.
