Tenebrous = Dark, murky

This is the subway with it's tenebrous walls and ceiling that links our suburb under the main road to the next suburb.
We go underneath here to another park the grandchildren enjoy playing in, but i can honestly say I have never gone through it in the dark, too dark and murky for me.
