I is for Island

This is D'Oyly Carte Island, on the river Thames at Weybridge. It was named by the producer of the Gilbert and Sullivan comic operas, Richard D'Oyly Carte (see link) who also build this rather creepy house on the island as his family home. There's nothing like having a big ego.
