Incoming

A beautiful morning for cycling out to the Bird Reserve and sitting in one of the hides, and spending an hour or so watching a pair of herons gliding over the reed beds. After yesterday's comments, I did get into conversation with a couple of serious birdwatchers whose equipment left me with a serious case of lens envy! Even with my lens on full zoom, I've had to crop this heavily to get this close.

There were some interesting cloud formations and reflections too, one of which you can see here
